Biology- Tissue Culture

Pictures below are show some ways to make a new plant through tissue culture.

Process:
1.  A small piece of tissue that is root or stem is taken from the carrot.
2. The explant is placed onto the culture medium.
3. Plant cells divide by mitosis to form a callus.
4. Cells in the callus develop into embryos and later  into plantlets.
5. Plantlets are then transferred to the soil and grow into adult plants.
